The uncle shared some traditional snacks with them, and they felt the warmth of Lung Yeuk Tau's culture. Page 7 After lunch, they visited the Song Ling Tang Temple. Sam said, “This place is so interesting! We can learn a lot about history here.” Everyone agreed and felt very happy. Page 8 At the end, the kids took a group photo on the mountain, promising to come back to Lung Yeuk Tau for more adventures. They headed home with wonderful memories. The children want to start collecting plastic bottle tops to recycle with Lids4Kids. They meet a nice volunteer who will drive their lids to Canberra for them. Then they send a letter home to their families and ask them to collect plastic bottle tops from milk bottles, pop bottles and water bottles. The children enjoy washing the lids in warm soapy water with their family (and pet dog). Next week all the children bring in a bag of lids each. Together they group the lids into colour groups. The nice volunteer pick them up and takes them to Lids4Kids in Canberra. The lids are then turned into a rainbow colored park bench. The teacher surprises the children by buying the rainbow park bench for their playground.

Page 4 The night before the celebration, Cherry made a wish at the temple, hoping everyone would be healthy and happy. She lit incense, blessing every person in the village. Page 5 On the night of the celebration, colorful lanterns lit up the village. People wore beautiful clothes, and the lively atmosphere made everyone smile. Page 6 The lion dance performance began, and Star showcased his amazing skills on stage. The audience clapped loudly, while Yara and Yun cheered, "Go, go!" At daycare, John J and Hopsi was going to Come to the rescue of others who are being teased or bullied.

Happy went to Switzerland in the time period of July 17th to August 6th, we get there by airplanes but it’s a very long trip, it took us about 17 hours to get there(including times on every single airplane,there was two in total).we went there for a holiday and of course, to stay cool from the hot weather in Taiwan (southern part is about 40 degrees C and the other parts about 38).We did a lot of different things there like shopping, taking photos,climbing small mountains……it was great.

Two friends, Cupcake and Peanut, are inside their big grey house. Peanut is sleeping on the couch, and Cupcake is in the highest tower of the house, electrocuting himself. A nice older woman knocks on the door. She has black kinky hair, and glasses with many many lenses. She is so kind to the boys, and almost acts as a surrogate mother. She even offers to clean out Peanut's Big Smelly Orange car. Then, she offers the boys infinite cookies, with the condition that they must eat all of them. Thrilled by their good fortune, Cupcake and Peanut happily accept the offer, and enjoy their newfound priviledges. However, over time, the cookies grow to be too much. Cupcake and peanut become overwhelmed and ill from eating all the cookies. With a terrible retching sound, the woman transforms into a witch! The infinite cookies were actually a curse, and cupcake and peanut are suffering as a result of their gluttony. The moral of the story- do not eat too many cookies. The witch transforms into a speck of dust, and is blown away in the wind.

Matilda is 3 year old and lives on a farm. She receives yellow gumboots in the mail. She loves them and wears them to visit the farm animals. She wants to splash in puddles, but it is a hot dry day. Finally she visits the ducks and it starts to rain heavily. She jumps up and downs in the puddles, the ducks happy too as they flap their wings and splash in the puddles.
