Long ago, in the village of Gokul, there lived a little boy named Krishna. He was no ordinary boy; he was full of mischief and had a heart as big as the world! Krishna loved playing with his friends, but there was something he loved even more—butter!

Krishna’s mother, Yashoda, made the tastiest butter in the village. She stored it in pots and hung them high up, thinking Krishna couldn’t reach. But Krishna was clever! One day, he gathered his friends and whispered a plan.

“Let’s make a tower!” Krishna said, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

His friends stood one on top of the other, making a human ladder. Krishna, being the smallest, climbed all the way to the top. He stretched his hand, grabbed the butter pot, and ate it with a big grin on his face!

But just then, Yashoda walked in. “Krishna!” she exclaimed, “You’re stealing butter again!”

Krishna, with his cheeks puffed full of butter, looked at his mother with innocent eyes and said, “Mother, the butter was too high for me to reach. How could I have taken it?”

Yashoda smiled at her naughty little boy. She knew Krishna was special, and even when he was mischievous, his heart was pure. Instead of scolding him, she hugged him tight.

From that day on, the villagers called Krishna “Makhan Chor,” the butter thief, but they loved him even more because he brought joy and laughter to everyone around him.

And so, Krishna continued to fill the village with happiness, always reminding everyone that love and joy are what truly matter.

Bobby goes to school and is uncomfortable because of what Ms. M is teaching. It makes him uncomfortable to talk about these things. He doesn't know what to do, where to go, or who to turn to.

He can't talk to Ms. M. So he tells his parents, Roberto and Sandra.

His parents tell him it's good he came to talk to them about his feelings and discomfort. 

They tell him he only should be learning about math, spelling, about the stars, and about gravity (Science). And anything else beyond that, he will learn when the time comes. But that his parents are there for him when he has questions.

This book empowers kids to understand how to talk about what happens in school and who to go to when they are uncomfortable.

What Bobby Learned in School

1.  John Jr and Nazut were playing in the backyard, when the saw a few hot air balloons in the sky.
2.  John Jr and Nazut thought it looked fun and went inside to tell John Jr's parents.
3.  John Jr's parents seemed pretty receptive to possibly going on a Hot Air Ballon as a family.  They told John Jr and Nazut to find out more information.
4.  John Jr and Nazut went to the internet.  They found a company that wasn't too far from their home.  
5.  They found out it would cost about $200 per person and would last about an hour.
John Jr and Nazut went back and told John Jr's parents and his mom made the reservations.
6. The long awaited day for the hot air balloon arrived and it was beautifully clear.  As the pilot inflates the balloon, John Jr and Nazut can feel the heat from the burners and hear them roar. Once balloon was upright everyone boarded the super size basket.  The take off was slow.  John Jr and Nazut felt a breeze everytime they went to a new altitude.
6.  John Jr and Nazut feel weightless as they glide through the air with the wind, traveling at speeds of five to six miles per hour.  The 360 degree view was spectacular.  Everything below looked so tiny.  As the end of the ride approached, John Jr and Nazut thanked the pilot for "a magical experience that' was peaceful, exhilarating, and gentle."
7.  The pilot had to keep using the burners to get the balloon to land.  Once landed, everyone left the basket.  John Jr and Nazut Thanked the pilot for an awesome time.

The first day of art class is always exciting, but for many students at Tech Valley Elementary, this year’s start was extra special. They were about to meet Mrs. B, the new art teacher known for her creative spirit and warm heart.

As the students walked into Mrs. B’s Creative Studio, they were greeted by a room filled with colorful art supplies, inspiring artwork, and a cheerful atmosphere. Mrs. B, with her bright smile and enthusiastic energy, welcomed each student with a warm hug and a kind word.

“Welcome to my Creative Studio!” Mrs. B said with a twinkle in her eye. “This year, we’re going to explore art in new and exciting ways. Each of you will have the chance to create, discover, and share your own unique talents.”

To kick off the year, Mrs. B announced their first project: “The Dream Catcher Collage.” This project was designed to help each student express their hopes and dreams while getting to know one another.

Mrs. B explained the steps for the Dream Catcher Collage:

The students eagerly began their collages, sharing their dreams and ideas with Mrs. B and each other. Some dreamed of becoming astronauts, others wanted to create amazing art, and a few wished to help animals. As they worked, Mrs. B encouraged them, saying, “Remember, your dreams are like stars in the sky—each one is special and adds to the beauty of our world.”

By the end of the class, the Dream Wall was adorned with vibrant and imaginative dream catchers, each one reflecting the students’ hopes and aspirations. Mrs. B admired their work and said, “Your dream catchers are wonderful! They remind us that each of us has unique dreams and talents. Let’s work together this year to help each other’s dreams come true.”

The students left the Creative Studio feeling inspired and excited about the year ahead. They knew that with Mrs. B’s guidance, they would explore their creativity and support one another in achieving their dreams.

1.  John Jr's Granny had been getting messages from Jesus.  Granny said "Jesus was going to Isreal in the near future."  Granny claimed that Jesus was also offended over "thought and prayer" reading implanantable devices.  John Jr wanted to learn more about Jesus.
2. Granny explained, Jesus was the son of God and that he had died for the sins of humanity. Jesus was born to two ordinary Jewish people called Mary and Joseph in Bethlehem. From age 12 to 30, Jesus worked in Nazareth as a carpenter.  Once he was an adult, Jesus travelled all over the country teaching people about God and encouraging people to respect and love one another. He also performed miracles, healed sick people and told amazing stories about God.  He had all together 13 different disciples that helped him in spreading the word of God.
3. John thought Jesus sounded tough and kind and wanted to live in a manner like Jesus.
4.  Granny read the Bible to John and gave him an important bible verse to remember.  John 3:16 says "“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Granny thinks that verse gives people the glorious hope of eternal life in heaven through the love of God and death of Jesus Christ.  Granny was also excited that she would eventually get to meet Jesus and God. Because there's something about it. I did a little book for John junior about. I don't have it yet. I don't think I have it yet.

At recess, Mello saw a group playing tag. He really wanted to join, but wasn’t sure if they’d let him. Gathering courage, he asked, “Can I play too?”

The kids exchanged glances. Tristan asked, “Where are you from?”

“I’m from another school,” Mello said. “But I love playing tag.”

The kids still seemed unsure. Skylar spoke up, “I’ve never had a friend like you before.”

Mello smiled. “That’s okay! I’ve never had friends like you either. We can learn from each other.”

There was a pause, then Tristan shrugged. “Sure! You’re it!” he said, tapping Mello’s shoulder.

Mello laughed and chased them. As they played, Mello realized it didn’t matter that he looked different—what mattered was having fun together. After the game, Skylar told Mello, “You’re fast! I’m glad you joined us.”
