(page 6) Meanwhile, Cytotoxic (Killer) T cells arrive! They find infected cells and destroy them to stop the pathogen’s plan! (page 7) Once the battle is almost won, Regulatory T cells make sure the superheroes don’t attack too much. They help the immune system calm down and return to normal. (page 8) After the battle, some B cells turn into Memory Cells. These cells remember the villain so they can defeat it even faster next time! (page 9) Bella feels better! Her primary immune response was strong, and next time, her secondary immune response will be even quicker! (page 10) Thanks to the Immune System Superheroes, Bella is safe! Miko the Meerkat and Lou the lizard live in the hot and dry Kalahari Desert. Miko the Meerkat and Lou the Lizard in the vast Kalahari Desert. Miko and Lou are best friends and do everything together! Miko is a bright, lively and friendly meerkat. He loves popping and looking out of burrows to explore the Kalahari. Miko likes moving from place to place and can’t stay still! Lou is a clever lizard; she loves to imagine the stars in the sky so much that she sometimes forgets to listen in class. Miko and Lou are different from their friends because they both have ADHD Miko struggled to stay still in class. He was always digging burrows and often got distracted during his How to Spot a Predator class. Lou also struggled in class. She couldn’t focus on her Sun Safety class because she was easily distracted by the clouds in the sky and often forgot to take down her homework.After visiting Dr Wild the Wildebeest, Miko and Lou learnt to do things that would help them to manage their ADHD. Although Miko and Lou struggled in class, their ADHD is now an advantage!Miko became the captain of the sand surfing team and had the fastest record in the desert! Miko was also top of his insect tracking class and created the first ever pair of insect spy goggles that could see different insect tracks and tell you what type of insect you are looking at!Lou enjoyed stargazing so much that she was top of the class for astronomy and could name every constellationEven though Miko and Lou had some tough times with their ADHD, they both learnt cool tricks to help them feel better and do their best. They have support from their parents, teachers and classmates. But the best part was that they could count on each other! Miko and Lou learnt how to handle their ADHD together and were always there to help each other when things got tough.

A boy born on 27th February, a Sunday in 1994. It was still winter. He brought the Spring back into his families lives early that year. He was first given a nickname, Chunky, by his aunt Chutki. His father named him Soham Krishna on the day of his Annaprashan. He quickly grew close, and quite protective, to his cousins, a trait he carries to this day. He was the beloved of his grandparents and loved spending time with them, especially his shondada. No sooner was he a Kindergartener, he was also learning to draw and swim. 8 years felt like a blink as his mother and I set him off on his learning journey. Always quick to make friends, he had met twin boys at The Frank Anthony Public School. Taking a liking to basketball and rugby, he featured regularly in school games. Passing out from Delhi Public School, Newtown in 2012 he gained admission into the MVJ College of Engineering. It was the first time he was going to live away from home. He joined TCS, Chennai in December 2016.

Battle of Cerro Gordo The First and Second Tennessee Infantry regiments distinguished themselves in this battle, which was the first of a series of American victories that led to the capture of Mexico City. Battle of Chapultepec A decisive battle in 1847, where troops led by Gen. Winfield Scott overwhelmed a group of cadets studying at the military academy in the castle. Battle of Palo Alto The first major engagement of the war, which took place on May 8, 1846. The American army was able to defeat the Mexican army, despite the Mexican army being much larger, due to their superior weapons and training. 4. John Jr and Yuēhàn found out Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo ended the Mexican War and annexed a large amount of territory to California.

Chase the chameleon was a happy chameleon but he always knew he was different from his friends, he was green. Chase was unable to change to different colours just like his other friends could. Chase tried to sit on red tomato and he couldn’t change colour, matter how hard he tried. His friends laughed at him and they didn’t want play with because Chase was different. Chase was very sad and went to talk to his grandfather, who was old and wise. Chase’s grandfather said “ stop trying so hard to fit in, just keep being yourself”. Chase went over to the river and stood on a log and looked at his reflection. Slowly Chase saw his skin change from green to brown, he scurried quickly to see his grandfather. On the way he passed his friends and they saw his changing color as he ran by. Chase called out “ grandfather, I changed colour”. Chase was so excited and his friends came to ask him to come and play.
