Page 2 As they walked, Thazkie noticed a beautiful butterfly resting on a flower. “Look, Papa! The butterfly is so colorful!” she exclaimed. Her father smiled and said, “Yes, thazkie.Allah created this butterfly with such beautiful colors to make the world more beautiful.” Page 3 They continued walking and saw a big tree with birds chirping in its branches. “Listen, Thazkie ! The birds are singing!” her father said. Thazkie closed her eyes and listened carefully. “It sounds so peaceful,” she whispered. Page 4 Her father nodded and explained, “Allah gave each creature a special way to praise Him. The birds sing, and the trees grow tall and strong. Page 1 Today, Alex and Emma are going on a school trip to Lung Yeuk Tau. They are very excited to see the beautiful mountains and old villages! Page 2 The bus drives along the mountain road to Lung Yeuk Tau. Alex tells Emma, "The mountains here look like a dragon jumping, so it’s called Lung Yeuk Tau!" Emma laughs and says, "That’s so interesting!" Page 3 They arrive at the old village called Old Wai and see the tall walls. Emma asks, "Why are the walls so thick here?" The teacher replies, "They were built to keep pirates away!" Page 4 The kids see an old well. Alex points and says, "This well was used by villagers for drinking water." Emma looks closely and says, "The well has a metal cover. That’s special!" Page 5 Next, they visit the Tin Hau Temple. Emma is surprised and says, "There are so many statues in the temple!" The teacher explains, "These are the gods that protect the village. We can pray here for blessings." Page 6 In the temple, the kids see two old bronze bells. Emma asks, "What are these bells for?" The teacher says, "People ring the bells to tell the gods and pray for safety." Page 7 Before the trip ends, the kids take pictures on the village path. They agree to come back next time to join the village’s traditional activities and learn more about the culture. Page 8 Back at school, Alex and Emma excitedly share their trip stories. Arthur sat down beside her and pulled her close. “Sometimes things that seem scary aren’t so bad when we trust the people who love us. Don’t worry. When the time is right, we’ll take care of it together.”  “Daddy, my tooth feels so loose now!” Arthur looked at her and said, “I think it’s time to  help that tooth come out. Can you get me a piece of string from the drawer?” Imoni’s eyes grew wide. “String? What for?” “We’ll tie it to your tooth and give it a quick pull.” Arthur explained gently. Imoni hesitated. “But what if it hurts, Daddy?  Arthur knelt down to her level. “I know you’re scared, sweetheart. But trust me, I’ll be gentle, and it’ll only take a second. You’re so brave, and I’ll be right here with you.” Imoni looked into her daddy’s kind eyes. She took a deep breath and nodded. “Okay, Daddy. I trust you.” Arthur carefully tied the string around Imoni’s loose tooth. “Ready, sweetheart?” he asked. Imoni squeezed her eyes shut and held her daddy’s hand. “Ready,” she whispered. “On the count of three,” Arthur said. “One… two…” Before he got to three, he gave a quick tug, and the tooth popped right out! Imoni opened her eyes. “Wait… is it out?” Arthur held up the tiny tooth. “It’s out! You did it, Imoni!” Imoni touched the gap in her mouth and smiled. “It didn’t even hurt!” she said, giggling. “I told you,” Arthur said, hugging her. “Sometimes, trusting someone makes all the difference. "That night, Imoni placed her tiny tooth under her pillow and climbed into bed. She felt proud and brave. Arthur kissed her forehead. “Goodnight, my brave girl. I’m so proud of you.”

In the magical land of Numberville, the numbers lived in cozy houses on a street called Place Value Lane. There were two neighborhoods: Tens Town and Ones Village. One day, in Ones Village, the number 3 was trying to give 5 apples to a friend, but there was a problem. 3 didn't have enough apples! Oh no! How can I give 5 apples when I only have 3? thought the number. But in Numberville, the numbers always help each other. So, 3 had an idea: "I’ll borrow some apples from my neighbor in Tens Town!" So, 3 went next door to Tens Town to talk to the number 6 who lived there. "Hey 6, I need to give away more apples than I have. Can I borrow some from you?" 6 smiled and said, "Of course! We’re neighbors, and neighbors always help out." So, 6 gave 1 of its apples to 3, but because it was from Tens Town, it was worth 10 apples! Now, 3 turned into 13 with the borrowed apples! "Yay!" said 13. "Now I have more than enough to give away 5 apples." After sharing 5 apples, 13 was left with 8 apples. And since 6 gave 1 apple to Ones Village, it turned into 5 in Tens Town. The numbers were happy because they helped each other, and everyone got exactly what they needed. And so, whenever a number doesn’t have enough to subtract, they just borrow from their neighbors in Tens Town, and everything works out perfectly.

Patrick was a 6-year-old boy who loved dinosaurs more than anything in the world. He had toy dinosaurs, dinosaur books, and even dinosaur pajamas. But what Patrick really wanted was to live among the dinosaurs. One night, as Patrick lay in bed, he wished with all his heart, I wish I could see real dinosaurs! Suddenly, his room filled with a soft green light. When he opened his eyes, he wasn’t in his room anymore—he was in a jungle! Patrick looked around and gasped. Tall trees swayed above him, and the ground rumbled under his feet. Then, he heard a loud THUD… THUD… THUD! Patrick turned and saw a giant dinosaur with a long neck eating leaves from a tree. “Wow! A Brachiosaurus!” Patrick whispered. The dinosaur looked down at him and gave a gentle nod. Then, Patrick heard a deep RUMBLE. He looked to his left and saw another huge dinosaur with a long neck and a thick tail. “A Brontosaurus!” Patrick said with a big smile. The Brontosaurus made a low, friendly sound and walked past him. Suddenly, the ground shook again. This time, it was different. BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Patrick turned and saw the most amazing dinosaur of all—a Tyrannosaurus Rex! The T-Rex roared, but it didn’t seem scary. Instead, it looked at Patrick with curious eyes. “You’re my favorite dinosaur!” Patrick said, feeling excited. The T-Rex let out a playful growl and lowered its head. Patrick climbed onto its back. “Let’s go!” he cheered. The T-Rex ran through the jungle, past rivers and volcanoes, past flying Pteranodons and small running raptors. Patrick laughed and held on tight. It was the best adventure ever! But then, a soft voice whispered, Patrick… Patrick… time to wake up! Patrick blinked and found himself back in his bed. His mom was standing by his side, smiling. “Did you have a good dream?” she asked. Patrick grinned. “The BEST dream ever!” And from that day on, every night, Patrick wished to visit the land of dinosaurs again. The End.

Aubree is a 4 year old girl from Oceanside, California. She lives with her mommy, daddy, and maltipoo dog named Paddington. Christmas is Aubree’s favorite time of year and she always eagerly awaits the return of her elves on “Sleigh Day,” her family’s special holiday each year on the day after Thanksgiving. Aubree’s elves are named Chippy, Snowflake, Kitty Minnie Sparkle Heart Minnie, and Stripey Blue Eyes. They return to Aubree’s house from the North Pole on the morning of Sleigh Day, arriving in a giant red and gold sleigh, pulled by a giant toy reindeer Sven (the reindeer from Frozen). Aubree’s elves always bring her some gifts on Sleigh Day, usually some Christmas books, cozy pajamas, and a few Christmas themed toys to play with throughout the season. Each night throughout the Christmas season, Aubree’s elves fly back to the North Pole, then return to her home by the morning, always hiding in a different spot. Aubree’s elves are very mischievous and she loves searching for them every morning. Each Sunday throughout the season, her elves leave her a special card or letter along with a fun gift or activity to do with her family, like tickets to see The Nutcracker or to go to Legoland. Aubree’s family loves these special days and calls them “Elf Sundays.” Aubree’s elves stay at her home longer than other children’s elves because they know she loves Christmas so much! They stay until she goes back to school, and then they fly back to the North Pole until they return on Sleigh Day the following year. When they leave, the elves always give her a special parting gift with a card, to make sure she always has special memories of that Christmas season.
