The next morning, Aqma helped Alea back to the palace. “Alea!” the King exclaimed. “Where have you been?” “I’m fine, Father, thanks to Aqma,” Alea said. The King turned to Aqma. “Thank you for protecting my daughter. You are always welcome in this palace.” Before Aqma left, Alea stopped him. “Stay for a meal, Aqma. Please.” Smiling, Aqma agreed.
