1. John Jr and Jade was studying the Bible verse Philippians 2.3-8: “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit but in humility count others more significant than yourselves." John Jr and Jade decided to look at Jesus teachings on humility. Jesus said to "clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience" John Jr explained humilityto Jade as the ability to consider others before oneself, and it can be defined for kids as being confident without being arrogant, and respecting others while maintaining self-respect. 2. John Jr and Jade thought about Jesus greatest act of humility. Jesus Accepted his fate of being crucified, even though it was the most humiliating and painful way to die. John Jr and Jade thought of ways they could show humility. John Jr and Jade decided they would consider others first, listen to the ideas and perspectives of other people, apologize and give thanks. 2. John Jr and Jade learns that Jesus exemplifies humility, teaching that "whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted" John Jr and Jade understands that humbling themselves before God will allow God to lift them up. John Jr and Jade knows that God frowns at the proud people and favors the humble. They tried to think of ways to be more humble. John Jr and Jade was going to try to Be aware of their shortcomings, strengths, and limitations, Recognize and acknowledge the strengths of others, Be open to learning and adapting from others, .Work towards putting others' needs before their own and Be a good listener and ensure others feel heard and understood around them.

On a beautiful spring day, a little girl named Lily sat on the porch with her grandfather, enjoying the warmth of the sun. A few days passed and John Jr and Vasi were ready to plant. They poked holes for the seeds, then placed seeds and covered dirt over seeds. After planting , they gave a nice watering to their garden. 5. John Jr and Vasi looked after and watered their garden daily. A few weeks went by and there was some buds sprouting. A few more weeks later there was fruit and vegetables starting to form. 6.. As summer was closing in, the fruit and veggies were ripe and in abundance. John Jr and Vasi went out to the garden and picked all the fruits and vegetables. There was so much that they gave Granny and a few neighbors some of their harvest.
