I am Kelly John, a young make adult, the hero of my own story. I was born and raised in the Philippines. I was left by my dad when I was 9 years, till then my mama raised me with all her might standing as my father and mother. Having no financial stability, I decided to cut off from school and continue living in my own simple ways. Days, months, years, I worked as hard as I could. Until a year come when I realized, education will lead me to a better future. Now I am third year college student, independent, motivated, inspired, and determined to finish and be a future educator. this is my life, this is me.

Efe found a small, shiny stone on the ground one morning while playing in the garden. When he picked it up, he saw a tiny insect underneath. He later realized it was a bee. "Hey, sweet bee! What are you doing here?" he called out to the bee. "Of course, I'm carrying honey!" the bee replied and flew away instantly. Efe was surprised. When he turned his head, he saw ladybugs drawing patterns on the flowers. He immediately closed his eyes and made a wish. His favorite toy should be his! When he opened his eyes, a grasshopper jumped out from between the blades of grass. It was such an energetic grasshopper that it kept jumping non-stop. Efe started jumping with it. When he got tired, he sat on some stones between two flowers to rest. What did he see? A colorful, wide-winged butterfly was dancing right beside him. The insects in this garden were so much fun! Efe danced along with the butterfly. Efe met many insects in the garden. He became friends with all of them. Now, he had lots of insect friends!

Peter the Peacock was different from the other peacocks. Peter didn't want to be like all the peacocks and do the same things they did. Peter loved to explore new places and seek friendships with animals that the other peacocks frown upon.

Once upon a time, there was a little turtle named Timmy. Timmy lived in a pond with many other animals. Timmy loved to swim, but he was very shy and scared of trying new things. One sunny day, Timmy saw some frogs hopping and playing near the pond. The frogs were jumping from one rock to another. It looked like so much fun! Timmy wanted to join them but felt too scared. A kind frog named Freddy saw Timmy watching. "Hello, Timmy," said Freddy. "Do you want to play with us?" "I do," said Timmy, "but I am scared. I have never jumped from rock to rock before." Freddy smiled and said, "It's okay to be scared. We can practice together. I will help you." Timmy felt a little better. He decided to try. Freddy showed Timmy how to jump from one rock to the next. Timmy was very careful and made a small jump. He wobbled a bit but landed safely. "Great job, Timmy!" cheered Freddy. "Now, let's try another jump." Timmy tried again. Each jump made him feel braver. Soon, Timmy was jumping from rock to rock just like the frogs. He was having so much fun! By the end of the day, Timmy felt very proud. He had tried something new and discovered it wasn't so scary after all. Timmy thanked Freddy for his help. From that day on, Timmy was no longer afraid to try new things. He learned that being brave means trying even when you feel scared. Lesson: Being brave means trying new things, even when you feel scared.

The green color represents the coat of arms of the house of Braganza, and the yellow one represents the house of Habsburg and the coat of arms of Portugal.
