Ian looked at Peddy in confusion. "Why did you stop, Peddy? Come on! There are no cars anymore; we can cross the road." Peddy shook her head. "No, Ian. The traffic light is green, which means vehicles can go. Red means stop, and yellow means slow down." Ian then noticed the pedestrian signal.
