She has a fever and a sore throat. Her mother, Nanay, immediately notices and, with gentle concern, checks on her. Nanay suggests Tinay rest for the day and skip school, which makes Tinay feel sad because she had been looking forward to playing with her friends after class. Nanay, always mindful of her daughter’s well-being, reassures her that resting is the best way to recover. Tinay, though disappointed, understands that she must stay home. Setting 3: Tinay’s Bedroom As Tinay lies in bed, she feels a deep sadness. Her mind drifts to thoughts of her friends and their favorite hangout, Balayong Park. The park is wide, with open green spaces and a refreshing breeze. She remembers the joyful times they spent running and playing together. Although she knows she needs to rest, Tinay can’t help but long for the happiness and freedom she feels when she’s with her friends at the park

There was a girl named Margie. She is cheerful and kind; however, she can't read because she has dyslexia. But it didn't stop her from loving books. She has audio-books, and colorful books that helps her understand what is written in the book. One of her favorite books is "The Chronicles of Narnia," written by C.S. Lewis.
